There’s a visual hook style that's been blowing up on Instagram (& TikTok) for months now, and it's not going anywhere...
✅ It’s creative.
✅ It grabs attention.
✅ And it promotes your music in a way that feels fun...not forced.
🪝 It's called a “Transition Hook.”
The "Transition hook" has 2 parts: 1️⃣ It starts with you doing something that grabs attention. 2️⃣ Then it transitions to you performing your music (either singing, DJing, playing your song on your DAW, etc).
✅ Here's an example that got 25M views:
The video below is a perfect example because not only does it grab attention at the beginning of the video, but it's grabbing the RIGHT person's attention who would actually be a fan of the song because of the added written text hook. The hook says, "oh look it's the person who skips casual dating and goes right to obsessed" which is the type of person the song is about, so that person is now hooked into watching and becomes a fan in the process.
