Why it Works:
You know those magic moments when you realize you’re writing something special in the studio? That’s exactly what artist duo @ohmyroya captured in real time. The hook also goes perfectly with the video because there are no words in the song, just notes. This is your sign to grab your phone, grab a tripod, and go write some music! If you feel like the phone will be distracting, don’t worry… you’ll forget it’s even there, especially if you record your sessions on a regular basis.
How to do it:
1. Put your phone on a tripod or on a bookshelf/something to hold it in place.
2. After you eventually have a moment of inspiration in the studio, stop the recording and make a clip of it to post later.
3. When posting, add a text hook that goes with the inspirational moment to stop the scroll and keep people watching.
Make a cover with a text hook that says your genre and where your version would be performed. @jackguaghanmusic
Make a video in your work clothes describing your day job & the kind of music you make. @flores.sounds
